Currently there are over 50 leaning towers across the globe. Undoubtably the most famous of which is the Tower of Pisa, built in 1173, which began to lean due to a poorly laid foundation and loose substrate that has allowed the foundation to shift direction (dur). Despite being the most well-known of the leaning towers Pisa's is arguably the Britney Spears of the field, it's the biggest, the most talked about, and the most polished but by no means the best. I mean, allthough it looks impressive it only leans by 3.99 degress. The real star of the leaning tower club is the Leaning Tower of Suurhusen in Germany, the Jay Z of leaning towers if you will, with not so much of a lean as a swagga. This tower leans out at an angle of 5.1939 degrees, thus beating the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa by 1.22 degrees...bitchin.
And so, a fitting tribute to the leaning towers of the world. Join me and...lean back.
